OSRM (OpenStreetMap Routing Machine) is a routing engine built on top of OpenStreetMap data providing fast route computation for driving, cycling, and walking. The OSRM API calculates optimal routes between waypoints, returns turn-by-turn directions, travel times, and distances.

Free public OSRM demo instance at router.project-osrm.org. For production, self-hosting OSRM or using commercial instances recommended. Popular in Nigeria for delivery apps, taxi services, and logistics platforms. No licensing restrictions for commercial use.
