Kotani Pay API Highlights
Kotani Pay API is best for crypto wallets, dApps and remittance apps that need stablecoin on- and off-ramps to African mobile money and bank accounts.
API Key (Bearer Token)
Not publicly specified
Kotani Pay connects crypto wallets and blockchain apps to local African payment rails. Its v3 REST API offers on-ramps (fiat in, stablecoins out to a wallet) and off-ramps (stablecoins in, fiat paid out to mobile money or bank accounts), plus deposits and withdrawals through mobile money (M-PESA, MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, Orange Money), bank and card.
It supports 15+ chains including Polygon, Celo, Optimism, Stellar, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Cardano and Lightning, and sends webhooks for transaction status. Authentication: log in by email magic link to get a JWT, generate an API key, then send it as a Bearer token.
A sandbox where no real money moves is available from support. Kotani Pay is Kenya-based.
Its docs list NGN/Nigeria, but Nigeria has been described as an expansion market, so confirm the Naira off-ramp is live before relying on it.
