JuheAPI Cell-ID Geolocation is a cell tower-based positioning API provided through JuheAPI, a Chinese API aggregator. Instead of relying on GPS satellites for location determination, this API uses Cell-ID (the unique identifiers of nearby cellular base stations) combined with a database of known cell tower locations to estimate the geographic position of a mobile device. This approach provides approximate location in environments where GPS is unavailable or impractical — indoors, in dense urban canyons, underground, or for battery-constrained IoT devices where GPS power consumption is prohibitive.
Applications needing cell tower ID (Cell-ID) based geolocation as a fallback for GPS-denied environments. Limited Nigerian tower coverage.
JuheAPI Cell-ID Geolocation uses cell tower base station data to approximate device location without GPS. Chinese API aggregator. Nigerian tower coverage exists but is limited. Alternative to GPS for indoor or GPS-denied location estimation.
