The Google Fit API is Google's health and fitness data platform that provides a unified repository for health, fitness, and wellness data collected from Android devices, Wear OS smartwatches, fitness apps, and connected wearable devices. The Fit REST API and Android/iOS SDKs allow applications to read and write fitness data — steps, heart rate, calories, sleep, workouts, weight, blood pressure, and other health metrics — enabling developers to build fitness tracking apps, health coaching platforms, and wellness tools that integrate with the health data users already collect through their devices.
