AWS Elemental MediaConvert is Amazon Web Services' file-based video transcoding service that converts video files from one format and resolution to another at broadcast quality enabling developers and businesses to process recorded video content for multi-device streaming delivery. MediaConvert is designed for on-demand video workflows: taking a raw camera recording and producing multiple output files in HLS, DASH, or MP4 formats at different quality levels (1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p) for adaptive bitrate streaming.
